Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews where book enthusiasts can show off their newest additions to their collection!
I have been on a book-buying ban for two weeks now! It’s actually been a success for once! I have been tempted so many times, but haven’t succumbed. I did, however, still manage to accumulate EIGHT new books!
- The Little Book of Hygge – Meik Wiking
- The No Spend Year – Michelle McGagh
Both books I have been interested in for a little while – all about comfort and saving money at the moment. (Hence the book-buying ban!)
- Nevermoor – Jessica Townsend
I have already read this and LOVED IT! But the copy I read was borrowed from a friend. The same lovely friend GAVE IT TO ME! So thrilled to be able to keep what is a truly gorgeous ARC.
- Gather the Daughters – Jennie Melamed
A book club book. I’m borrowing the ARC off a friend. I have to give it back to her fairly quickly, so I’ll have to read it very very soon!
- The Growing Season – Helen Sedgwick
- The City Always Wins – Omar Robert Hamilton
Both looked rather interesting in the office at work! I love the title of The City Always Wins, and I really really liked Helen Sedgwick’s writing in The Comet Seekers.
- One of Us Is Lying – Karen M. McManus
My friend bought a second copy (in hardcover) and gifted me her paperback! Yay! I’ve heard good things and can’t wait to get stuck in.
- Kindred Spirits – Rainbow Rowell
Soooooo, I did spend money on this book, but it was weeks ago! It just took this long to make its way into my possession! Yay for adding to my Rainbow Rowell collection!
