Stacking the Shelves #76

Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews where book enthusiasts can show off their newest additions to their collection!

The book-buying ban is going fine… I didn’t spend any money on books this week, but I still managed to accumulate six new books! AGGGGHHHHHHH! I need to be stopped! However, I am super dooper excited about all of these so I can’t complain, except about not having enough time to read…

Bookshop Job:

  • I Am I Am I Am – Maggie O’Farrell

I 100% knew that Maggie O’Farrell’s memoir would be my one of my top books of the year even before I got a chance to read it! It’s all about her many brushes with death – HOW COOL IS THAT? I jumped on it as soon as I could and it is INCREDIBLE! I haven’t done a proper review in a while but definitely will for this!

Publishing Job:

  • FullSizeRender 49Godsgrave – Jay Kristoff

I am so lucky to work for the wonderful publishers of this book and therefore got a copy through my office! (Which is lucky as I preordered two hardcover copies from overseas…) I attended the launch, which was incredible – Jay is a wonderful speaker and so good to all of his fans!

The YA Chronicles:

  • Dare – Natalia Jaster
  • Tower of Dawn – Sarah J Maas

Both of these came from the marvellous girls from The YA Chronicles! Technically I spent money on these, but it happened BEFORE the ban! Really excited to read Dare – it is a companion novel to Trick by Natalia Jaster, which I really loved! And what can I say about Tower of Dawn – not sure if I’m ready to delve back into this world yet, but I will be burning my lovely candle and using my previous new tote bag when I do!

  • Wonder Woman – Leigh Bardugo
  • Windfall – Jennifer E. Smith

I borrowed these ones off a wonderful friend! I should probably get stuck into them soon so that I can return them to her at some point! 😛

What did you add to your shelves this week? Are there any here I need to move right to the top of my TBR?
